Lush Haul #1

This week I took one of my frequent trips to my favorite store, Lush.
I purchased quite a few items, including christmas presents for friends and family, and of course the odd item or two for myself!

Butterbear Bath Bomb

“A vanilla scented bath bomb with cocoa butter to soften the skin.”

This product fizzed quite quickly and left the water clear and bubble-less. I find bubbles quite annoying when trying to take a relaxing soak and so this didn’t bother me that much. The fizzer left the water feeling velvety, and when out of the bath there was no need to moisturize as my skin felt silky smooth and smelt delicious. Glitter wise there seemed to be a small shimmer to the water but not as noticable as most Lush products. However, it made a tired me very happy indeed and so I will definitely be buying this product again!

Cinders Bath Bomb

“Drop into your bath for fireside comfort”

Although at first it looks peach in colour, dropped in a bath it gives off a warm yellow colour that sizzles! It smells amazing and has a scent of a burnt out campfire. There isn’t much glitter with this product but It’s a great way to relax!

Father Christmas Bath Bomb

“A sweet scented festive bomb to bring Santa’s Christmas presents into your bath”

This bomb splits when dunked into a warm bath and leaks a beautiful vivid apple green colour, the smell is delicious, and you can’t help but feel festive afterwards! I think this is my favourite festive product!

I also purchased the melting snowman bath melt – “melt away festive fatigue with this cocoa butter bath melt”

I haven’t used this product yet, however I have heard many fantastic reviews about how soft it can make your skin feel, and a big plus for me is that it smells of chocolate!

I also purchased the Shoot for the stars bath bomb – “paint the swirling colours of the night skies over the surface of your bath water”

Again this one hasn’t been used yet as I’m saving it to use last! I’m super excited to see this one in action!

Whilst there I knew I had to buy some shower jelly. This stuff is the best, not only is it a shower gel but it can act as a shampoo too! I love ‘Whoosh’ which has a citrus sent and is bright blue, however this time I decided on ‘Sweetie Pie’ which has a lovely fruity sent and leaves your hair smelling amazing all day.

At the checkout I spotted the charity pot of hand and body lotion, this is only £1 and 100% of the proceeds go to good causes! It also works wonders for your skin, leaving it silky smooth and as always it smells amazing, and for the size and price of the pot you get a surprising amount of product, this is one of my most essential buys from Lush and every trip I take I bring home one of these small delights!

And so that’s it this time round! I have always been a fan of the festive season at Lush, and look forward to seeing traditional products in stores such as Snow Fairy as well as some new fancy things to put alongside them!
